At first I didn't like this one much. Actually hearing it in the game, along with a Bond-style intro that tries a little too hard to be like Casino Royale's, it felt like an immitator. something trying to sound like a Bond theme, but just not hitting the right vibe.
After forgetting all about it and then hearing it again today, though, it actually struck me as being really good. Away from the context of Bond-related expectations, it's kind of impressive for a vocal videogame theme (especially in a western-made game). It now strikes me as being almost MGS3-like, in a way (which is kind of fitting, since MGS3's theme was trying to be Bond-ish as well).
Joss Stone's vibrato can be a little overbearing, but it's a good tune either way.

though, i never played this on the gameboy, i remember booting up Sword of Mana for the GBA and loving that theme
