360 pad decided to work again. So earlier today beat the griever which was amazingly easy. Then found the dry grounds and not have 6 abysmal armor. Now have Hellfire the gun and 6 lifebars.
Thing is with me is I'm not a dungeon fan so anytime I beat one in any game I have to take a break. SO In the dry grounds went to vulgrim and returned to the crossroads for now.

I'm in the middle pf a second play through showing my dad, just went through the whole Twilight Cathedral in an hour's sitting (well almost, almost to Tiamet). First play through was on Easy this time on Normal.

The only thing preventing this game from being perfect is they need to throw in a mini boss of a bald guy with a red stripe down his body. I would love to kill Kratos with War.

Only 2 tries for Tiamet or Tiamat this time compared to like 20 last time. Games can be a breeze when you know what to do and what to expect even on a higher setting than the first time through.

I got tiamat first try. Wasn't that hard. The boss fights so far are like zelda. All a puzzle all have clues right away how to kill.

I followed someone's advice the first time I played it and started it on Hard mode right from the get-go.
Glad I did it. The challenge was great, but never frustrating for me. Just the right level so it felt satisfying after every little battle. I imagine it probably would have almost seemed too easy on any other mode.

I may have to try hard next.

I just know I love how they emulated Zelda boss fights. So did Pandoras Tower. So to me fighting bosses like this are kinda second nature to me. Not saying I'm so experienced I'm automatically good now. Just kinda gorwn to expect bosses to be like that. Also like Zelda darksiders is very obvious in setting up traps for fighting hoards of enemies in a room. Plus I think anyone who has played a few zeldas or RPGs just know big round rooms of big platforms or any space big and a lot of space to run. Equals boss fight. I walked into the Grievers area saw the train and ice blocking me and figured I have to hit it somehow and get rid of the ice. I didn't expect the roof caving in on me. Or Chaos form being useless :P

Manny was right tho so far the Cathedral was the hardest thing so far.

Wicked K is a an inspired character, one that has stayed in Vigil Games collective heads for a couple of years before being dropped in the game at the last second.

“He’s one those characters where we talked about putting him in the game,” David Adams, Vigil’s general manager told me over the phone this afternoon.

“We didn’t put him into the game until the last month when we all sat in the room at 3 o’clock in the morning and were like, ‘Man, we gotta get this guy in the game. We’ve been talking about him for two years,’ “

But he’s more than just a character: he’s the digital recreation of a Vigil inside joke.

“Our lead designer, Hayden Dalton, he’s from Manchester and our art director is from London. We have a pretty big ‘Brit’ contingent, so it was kind of like our caricature of all those guys combined together in one ridiculous caricature.”

At first I thought this guy was a zombie version of Tingle. When he disappears in his hat I almost expect him to say KOOLIMPAH.

Holy shit I took forever to notice this. The tower in this game reminds me of Dahms Tower.

I just got ruin and beat that smaller worm. Holy fuck that was intense fighting hoard after hoard. I was low on health and no chests left. Then I found vulgrim warped to the crossroads to chill and HOLY FUCK EVERYTHING IS AFTER ME. I must be 60% complete or something.

Stygian is beaten and taken new safe ground at Anvils road. Worm was the easiest yet.
