New Ds Announced: The DS 3D

Other than the remakes, I just see it as another Nintendo gimmick TBH so i'm not that interested.

I know there are a lot of new games but the remakes seem to be overshadowing those quite a bit at the moment. Especially Ocarina of Time..

^I wouldnt be suprised if Okami was made for the 3DS, it would probably scrub up well with 3D.

Why would they do that? DS has the sequel next year with Okamiden.


@Riku besides not liking the shaking,it also increases chances of carpel tunnel and as a writer I don't want that.
It's esp a waste these days on batts with wireless controllers.

Maybe Im just being hopefull, but i think its somewhat likley considdering nintendo handhelds are 'remake' machines. I always thaught that Okami was suited to the ds because of its stylus, and in 3d, it would look hell cool.

Just seemed pretty obvious,when you ask hardware to do more somethings will have to scale down. Besides when i get my 3DS to upgrade from my old lite I don't really plan to use the 3D gimmick. Just having nicer visuals and newer games is enough.

You have to render the visuals twice for two inner screens for each eye to see.
Human eye can't see true 3d. We see things 2d and the image comes in upside down,our brains take the image turn it to the right side up and take both images from each eye render it to give what the brain believes to be the true 3d image you see.

So 3ds and other screens that use the non glasses screen they project two seperate images on each screen and the slider adjusts both screens to lessen or strengthen the illusion.

Im looking forward to the 3DS. Mostly because a Metal Gear and Resident Evil game are going to come out sometime near after launch.
