Honestly OL, if you are basing that off of the reason that Hatsune Miko is in the game (or her Yakuza equivalent), thats probably all the more reason for them to bring it over. I went to the mall the other day, and she was in a few stores I went to including Hot Topic and Spencers... yeah...

It's nothing to mock anyone over. These games have legitimately small chances of being localized. They aren't big sellers in the least. They seem to end up with an okay return, but the numbers are never anything very impressive. The fact that we've actually gotten most of them so far is practically a miracle.
It's nothing to scoff at each time one gets localized. Honestly it's something to be thankful for, and I'm always happy to see that western Yakuza fans are so vocal in their enthusiasm each and every time.

And in this particular case, there's very good reason to be nervous about its chances of a localization. It's slated to be the absolute biggest game in the series yet, which is something to be very excited about, obviously. But at the same time, it means it would take even more work, time, and money to localize. Not to mention the fact that it seems to contain so much pop culture-centered content (one of the trailers shows a minigame with Haruka performing a very Japanese-style standup comedy act, something that would undoubtedly fly right over most westerner's heads), which would clearly be something for Sega to consider before bringing it over.
Looking at its content objectively, it's a series that almost seems set for failure in the west rather than success, so yeah, it is still a surprise every time one gets announced over here.

Whoa, I was only joking but that actually sounds like an awesome idea, I wonder how many japanese girls would be willing to get with some fine white man specimens like me and OL. EDIT: Downloading the RGG5 demo now. Strange, they didn't have it up on the main PSN page (as new demos usually are). I had to actually go into the PS3 section and find it.
