It's amazing how there were no beat-em-up scenes in either of those videos, and yet I was still hooked to the screen watching them. The taxi driving looks incredibly fun (especially on the highway, pulling off Heat moves), and I don't usually bother with hunting games, but if there's a great story involved (which ther obviously will be) then I could easily get into it.
Sega would be crazy not to localize this.

I found an official gold coloured DS3 on Amazon. The dragon design on the controller is only a sticker apparently, so there's a make-shift Yakuza PS3 controller if you can get your hands on the stickers..

Ok, I'm sick of this, why does the western audience always get shafted! Maybe she meant that it's currently japan-only (probably reading the quote into too much detail). I wish that Atlus or some other team can get into a contract agreement with SOJ/SOA release this...

Oh no... NNOOOOOO! I hope the bitch is wrong, or just trolling... Has Yakuza really sold that poorly outside of japan? I know it was almost a fluke we got yakuza 2, but still they seemed to have released 3 and 4 with no problems.

I think it's just a misinterpretation. It's her personal twitter account, not a business-related one, so she obviously just answered immediately off the top of her head, rather than actually looking into the matter. It was just such a curt, blunt response that obviously she wasn't giving much thought to it.

Yeah seriously? Is that a dancing Mini-Game? Who is the young girl in the sailor moon looking outfit? And when I saw the guy on the ledge I instantly thought that must be the Y5 version of the suicide jumper from Y1 and Y2, keep in mind I havent played past those, so if the suicide jumper appears in the later games I am not aware. Speaking of that, I had a hard time not putting Y3 into my PS3 the other day when I turned it on. HOPEFULLY I can convince yukio to play Y3 together simultaneously like me and him have done with so many other games in the past.
