Shenmue 3-itis, not even the company itself wants to officially say it is or is not happening, because deep down even they want to still have hope that it might, but everyone knows its not unless by some miracle dreams come true.

They have sorta. Saying they are a tiny company and that if they did translate it,that's the only game they could work on and would out them out of business.

Last I checked I thought they said "sorry, no Trails news this year". Maybe they're hoping that Falcom will port the Trails games over to PC so they can release it on Steam?

Personally, I'm a bit miffed and have held off on actually playing Trails because the ending is supposed to be...Shenmue II bad, The Darkness II bad, Advent Rising bad. You know, those, "See ya next game" endings... :/

Ag I do know how it feels. One of my fave series this gen Darksiders ended on a cliffhanger and the studio closed down.

The Trails games are originally PC games.

Actually Falcom has rewritten the game so it could be released on PSN and is using aspects of the PC versions and PSP versions to make the PS3 versions which could also possibly get released here.

Wanna know something great, the story from Trails still isn't done. Sen no Kiseki (which looks amazing BTW) is still dealing with stuff introduced in Second Chapter.

Falcom has said a few times that they want to bring more stuff west right now the problem is SC which is longer then 7 novels. If they can get that translated and out the door there isn't a game longer then it (It was the first 2 umd game for fucks sake)

but yea, theres still a chance it can happen people seriosuly just don't know how long the game is. It came out 2 and half years after the original game. The first game was getting re-released on PSP by the time SC was released. Getting Legend of Heroes in English is still a very distinct possibility.
