SURPRISE! Another reason DLC sucks a maggot infested cheese crusted donkey dick.
No UMD support in the US. I would have kept my PSP anyway.

^ Yeah I saw that, oh well, UMD wasnt the best setup anyway, and its not like my PSP is dying (ok maybe the battery is shot in it, but thats about it). R.I.P. UMD.
but not before its few last calls to glory being the rest of TITS and Type-0

It's Sony's policy after Pandora. PSP-E1000 also doesn't have a removable battery.

2000-3000 do. I just replaced mine recently.

Yes, but Sony changed that policy with PSP-E1000 and Vita. Most people say it's because of past problems with Pandora hacking.

Didnt hear about that, hopefully they made a more worth while battery for the PSVita then. My battery on my PSP-1000 is basically dead (it holds charge for maybe 30 minutes, but proably not even that?) and I've had it since 2005. I bet the battery can be fixed and replaced in the Vita, just now you just have to call sony and send it in for them to fix it... Another way for them to make money.

That plus being extra careful not to have easy hacks of the system.

I'm seriously considering getting a psp at some point. Probably not for months, but at some point this year. What caught my attention was the wide assortment of good games that can be had for $10. Even among the newer or more "premium" brands most go for no more then 20. I wish the system was a bit cheaper, it seems like it's been $130 for a pretty long time now even with the Vita coming out and that still leaves accessories and memory sticks. Maybe if it still has not been slashed to 100 in coming months I'll look into getting one for 80 or something on Ebay. The cost of the games should offset the system at least, most DS games never go for so little, with most of them going for 40 and some now even beginning to ask for 50. :-k My thought now is whether to go the 2000 route or 3000 route.

3000 adds AV out to play games on the TV. Butit doesn't adjust to the resolution leaving with a stretched small widescreen. Also has a built in mic. Screen is a tad nicer on the 3000. 2000 has AV out as well but only for video. Screen is good but not quite as good as 3000. Both are slim both have the sam ram and such.

Yeah that's what I've heard. I've also heard though that the 3000 screen seems to struggle sometimes with motion or tearing that the 2000 screen doesn't, so it's a bit of a mixed bag.

I own a 2000 and love the screen. Not noticed any ghosting
