I own a 2000 and love the screen. Not noticed any ghosting

i too never did see any of the ghosting that was complained about. odd

Some people refuse to notice it, but it's there alright. I did my share of testing when I had a PSP-2000. Oh, and PSP-2000 features smearing, not ghosting (that's slightly different).

Sony fixed the smearing in PSP-3000, but that model has its own share of problems. The best PSP screen is - ironically - in the budget model (PSP-E1000/Street).

I'm not even sure if the US will see the budget model.

Why would you want it? It has no wi fi. Plus it butt ugly. Not fit for a sexy hog.
To settle it get either 2000-3000. you will be happy either way.

Because it has the best screen. It all depends on one's priorities. For me, the screen is the most important thing. I don't need WiFi since I can access PSN via PS3 and I don't intend to play online games. As for it being ugly - yeah, it's just as ugly as PS3 Slim (the same mat plastic).

I'm not sure how much good wifi would do me. I can barely use use the cell phone I got from assurance out where I live because signal strength is so weak. Though I do suppose you're right in that it is not sufficiently sexy for a looker such as myself. 8)

Not harping on ya but why still on dialup? Still no DSL at least where you are?

See if you qualify

I input all of my information into the prequalify thing, though the results aren't good.

"It appears your Prequalification was Inconclusive"

I know what that means. No dice. I input my phone and email however for the heck of it as they take a business day or two to make sure. I'm not getting my hopes up. All my previous attempts for DSL resulted in being told the phone lines out my house are barely sufficient enough to serve the purpose of phone. I may be moving sometime this year, likely into the city. So hopefully the era of dark times dial up will be over at last.

You're thoughtful to even consider such a gesture. O:) But you need money more than I do atm. Besides, even if you were able, I would just be inclined to pay you back anyway I could, including twisted sexual favors. :whip:

You guys realize giving the color scheme that Ryudo cosplaying as sonic, and sonikku cosplaying as Amy is the obvious choice when the time arrives for said favors :P

You think it's a PS,PSV knockoff eh? Sorry this came out years before PSP. Tapwave. had a touch screen and had games that looked like PSone games. Now look at the UI. Yep Sony stole that also

It would not surprise me if Sony "borrowed" ideas from someone else. Their strength has never been innovation, it has been seeing what the competition does and doing it better (they hope, anyway). It was the same with the PS3 when it came out. Everything about it screamed Me too! Everything from their wii motion knock off to their Kinect knock off likely would not have existed if not for their competition.

Just got back from Target.

Got to play the Vita at last. I like it but I do have issues. The touch screen is not very responsive. Sometimes have ot hit it twice and with some force. Analog sticks feel cheap. The buttons are fucking tiny! Smaller than my DS buttons and that bugs me a great deal! I would still want to buy one but I hope some of those are fixed. I also played Gravity Rush Demo. Feels very very gimmicky. More so than Mario Galaxy. Course it was just a demo. Uncharted looks great of course but to me visually PSV is to PS3 what PSP is to PS2.

PSV is cool but needs to tooling IMO.
