1.) Yes.
2.) Yeah, just a regular old headset mic. I recorded using a freeware program called Audacity, though, which outputs pretty good quality despite my crappy audio equipment.

Well that might be going a little far, but I appreciate it.
I'll try to tighten it up and make it better as I make more. The script for my next one is already more satisfying to me than the first was, so at least it feels a bit like immediate progress.

Oh, and I have a Mother's Day special planned. That should be a good one.

New video.
Took me longer than I intended, and I think I accidentally made the music a little too loud at certain points. And I wasn't feeling great today, had kind of a cottonmouth thing going, so it was difficult to record the voiceover (and I feel like I sound like a prick for some reason).
Still, I tried to make the video a little more concise this time, and tried to make the dialogue flow a little better.
Nothing special overall, but it's just another step in (hopefully) the right direction.
And as always, original youtube window + 720 or 1080 HD is going to look a hell of a lot better than the embedded window.

I think I'm going to limit the MS Paint stuff a bit from now on, unless it's a really special video. It takes the longest to do, and really slows down the production process.

nice work OL, never played this game before but it looked pretty good and as you said, like space harrier.

I have a nit pick, but it doesnt have anything to do with the actual video, but rather the sound. I always listen to stuff through my head phones, so no one probably even caught this, but the music is mono and the voices are stereo, the music was to the extreme right ear phone. I dont know if you intentionally did it this way, but seems somewhat unnatural to the ear. See if your programs will allow you to pan your music track/s to the center so it can be heard from both sides, or you may have needed to select a stereo output when you loaded the music into your software, OR you could just try to ad another mono audio track of the same music and pan it to the extreme left (just remember to turn the volumes down on both the left and right tracks, or it will be overly loud and may drown out everything else). ...Still, I have nitpick over the computer voice for the robot, maybe you should try and contact Corey Marshall or someone equally as drab as a voice actor to do the robot. I am surprised that I am in the minority over this "issue" if you can call it that.

That was pretty good. I also liked the bit on what the series might have been and its little cameo in Namco x Capcom. The best things about these kind of reviews is the history behind the series. Which is why I enjoy AVGN vids, he incorporaof tibits with the game or peripheral.
