I'll probably do Fragile at some point. Just need to formulate something relevant to say about it.
Maybe when I'm in more of a mood for melancholy. I'd probably love editing the intro and whatnot for a video like that, with such fantastic music and imagery to work with.

EDIT: An funny you mention Tron Bonne...
I was just downloading the soundtrack for it in preparation (not planning to do the video now, but definitely in the near future).
:D

There are some odd flubs here and there (I say "the fact remains" twice during the ending segment; didn't notice it until I finished the video), but overall I guess it's not too bad. Tried a lot more in the way of editing effects and whatnot this time, since I'm getting a much better handle on the program I use.
I was really concerned about not going over the limit time of fifteen minutes, so I left a lot of details out (which in hindsight was pointless, since I still could have filled another two and a half minutes). Things such as:

- Further explanation of variables in the battle system.
- Explanation of Magatama
- Explanation of Kagutsuchi, and how it affects so much of the gameplay.
- Elaboration on the various philosophies presented by the characters.
- Elaboration on symbolism and references to older games (such as the fact that Hijiri is theorized by most fans to be the reincarnation of Aleph, the main character from SMT2, or that the old man and little boy are variations on Louis Cypher from other games in the series).
- Elaboration on the Fiends' role in SMT2, how they were kind of like the videogame equivalent to bigfoot; supposedly less than a 2% chance of ever getting into a random battle with them, and many gamers actually doubted their existence.
- Mention of the two minigames.
- Mention that according to Kaneko, the protagonist's "shorts and shoes" look was actually inspired by Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (seriously).

So yeah, some stuff was left out. But the video does a good job going over the basics, I think. Kinda boring at the beginning, but I think it gets more interesting after the battle system explanation is out of the way.
Probably not worth the wait, but oh well.

This was really good, your last couple of videos have been outstanding.

I really think you'll continue to gain popularity with this channel, I know I'll be promoting it to some people anyways, keep up the good work.

So I just got my first "dislike" on one of my videos (the Nocturne one).
I know it doesn't matter at all (probably just some troll who hates SMT or something), but for some reason it bothers the hell out of me anyway. You work for months on something simply out of enthusiasm for a game, and someone clicks the "dislike" button with no feedback as to why the video doesn't meet their standards or whatever.
It's not even the fact that they disliked it; I've gotten that before. Back when I put out my Phantom Dust video, Oppy told me it seemed to drag a bit. And I didn't mind hearing that, since it was legitimate feedback. Something I've actually kept in mind since then and tried to avoid. It was actually constructive criticism. Honestly, that's what I want.
But just a random clicking of the "dislike" button?
It's like someone running up to you, saying "Fuck your video and fuck you!", then running away with no explanation.
I know it ultimately doesn't matter, I just hate when people criticize without explaining.

Been so long since I've seen that. They have the right idea though.

If it makes you feel any better I showed it to a couple of people and they really liked it.

I have more dislikes than likes. So I suck. To me it's just trying to keep improving. I have to film them with a potato. I'm a sensitive person and camera shy and hate the internet to see my chubby face. Yet I keep doing it because I enjoy it afterwards and know as I go along I can improve. The few feed back comments makes me happier and forget about the dislikes. Even the trolls every so often on the comments. So don't fret. Some people are just jerks.

^^True, the good feedback I get makes it worth it either way.

And I really appreciate that kind of thing.
But again, it's not so much that someone doesn't like it, but rather that they didn't bother to say why.

"you're retarded"
- A comment left on one of my YouTube videos.

YouTube comments are a great place to view people of differing opinions calling each other "faggots" but you might be at a loss for constructive feedback of any kind.

Just realized your voice sounded much more crisp and less tinny this time.
