I think it's actually printed on the box art, not a sticker. Kind of like the Okami IGN quote or whatever.
And yeah, that shit is annoying. Kind of irritated me when I got Assassin's Creed 3, and there was a big "Gamestop Edition" banner across the top of the box art. Tacky as hell.

Seriously hated that.Don't understand why they felt the need to slap gamestop on it.Really ruins the look to the cover art.My Splinter Cell Double Agent box has and ad on it that gives me the chance to win a Chrysler 300c...I guess the slip that came inside the box wasn't enough advertising.

Still none of that is as bad as this!

One thing i don't totally like is that you get spotted by people if you are wearing the same outfit as them. I can understand a small gang spotting an imposter but i just did a level where the whole police/swat force are looking for me and I'm to belive they know what EVERY damn cop looks like?

The Hitman games aren't particularly story-heavy, although I believe this one is. From what I gather though, it may be billed as a reboot, but it seems they're doing the same thing DC did with the New 52, changing a lot whilst also keeping a lot the same. So, no, you don't need to play previous games to know what's going on.

Wait... I thought in the big flashy demonstration video they had out for awhile, his big escape happens while donning cop clothes and walking out through a lobby crowded with police?
So that can't even happen in the game? Or can he lower his hat and cover his face a bit like in that video and hold off detection for a bit longer?

Absolutely. Assassin's Creed is excellent, and it's pretty much yearly. I might not mind a new Hitman installment on a more regular basis.

a lot of nuns being killed by bad guys. Silent Assassin had a mission cut from future copies do to the killing of Sikhs. Might go ignored for now as people are too busy moaning that the saints look like prostitutes at the moment

And IMO Hitmans no way near big enough to warrant a COD style dev cycle.
