granted I don't hate any of these games but Capcom really need to stop handing off franchises, worse yet to mostly unproven developers and worse then that killing them off when they're done.

The only one that kinda worked out was with Blue Castle which ended up becoming Capcom Vancouver.

Dark Void, BC09, OpRAC

Lost Planet to Spark Unlimited
Ninja Theory and DMC

I don't get it, these games are just sink holes of money.

I'm going to be level headed in this post. I'm past the point of being mad at Capcom. It's worse. The developer that helped raise me as a kid in terms as a gamer. Is long gone. Everyone that was part of that is gone. There is no point for me to care anymore. Game I still hold interest in I will get. But until this phase is over for them if ever. I can't support them. While it maybe late I may still get Asuras Wrath new just because of Cyberconnect 2. That maybe the only good outsourcing they have done since inafune left and it's not western. I do kind of understand the outsourcing to western developers. I hate it but I kinda get it. What I don't get why do they keep handing keys to such blatantly bad western developers? :???:

My speakers need counseling, they are traumatized by the sounds that just passed through them.

I know DMC had swearing and that's fine. Damn Shit bullshit. That was about it. I know No More heroes had a lot of fuck in it. however it was meant to be funny. This DmC forces the word fuck so many times it's becoming a farce. Ok so he is not on the list of some club so he takes it and writes fo fuck yourself. Gee real clever. Then he says fuck a lot in game play now this cat vomiting while taking it's claws to a chalkboard so called song,"don't fuck with a god". Really? Every time something new comes from this thing it gets worse and worse. As OL said on the first page. Fuck you Capcom.

Meh just average skrillex inspired dubstep, guess it could fit the dmc atmosphere but i dont understand why they picked this dutch guy though, i guess they dont know much about dubstep and saw that he had some kind of success so gave him the job, shame i like dubstep when it manages to fusion well with the rythm instead of just uncreative wubs

Gameplay starts at 5:50

New footage has emerged of Ninja Theory's upcoming Devil May Cry reboot, portraying Dante infiltrating a news station parodying "one particular American outlet that shall go unnamed" according to producer Alex Jones.

This particular chapter appears to shed the gothier aesthetic of yesteryear to portray an almost Psychonauts level of satirical surrealism as Dante journeys through a nightmare realm of red, white and blue propaganda, animated logos, and bloated hate-spewing talking heads.

There's a boss fight against an anchorman that I'm pretty sure is a parody of Bill O'Reilly, followed by live helicopter footage of Dante doing his hacking-and-slashing thing on a boardwalk. He's also accused of "rapidly spreading sexual disease of the unholy kind."

Well, I still don't find it incredibly appealing, but they've got some interesting ideas I guess.

Yeah, the ideas actually are interesting, but I still take issue with them. I don't like that they're taking Devil May Cry and trying to use it for the sake of political commentary and satire. I hate that actually.
Do that in your own IP. Don't take an established franchise (no matter how much you may be altering and twisting it) that people are so fond of, and fuck with in such a way as to put across subjects as touchy as politics. It's an ugly thing to do, and will only serve to make the "DMC" name look even worse in some peoples' eyes.
DMC shouldn't be a platform for social controversy.
For a while there, I was starting to just accept that this game was coming out and that it's nothing to be bothered by.
But now I think I'm right back on the "fuck this game" bandwagon.
