Not sure what kind of conclusion you're trying to reach there. Out of the two games I played, DMC was the best one. Never tried the other two in depth (in 3's case, at all) so i'm not sure if they're any better. I heard 3 was the best in the series based on reviews, but I rather try it someday and make up my own mind about it.

I don't know why HR is being mentioned but I heard that same type of argument that you can play the game on youtube since its essentially a movie. But its not Plumbers Who Don't Wear Ties that has only three possible outcomes you can sift through in 2 minutes by only clicking. And last I checked, not every choice is on YT. Plus the interactivity aspect, no matter how limited, gets you in the game through its little QTE moments and mini-games of sorts. But that's a different thing altogether from DMC.

DMC is a bit rough by todays standards but still enjoyable. DMC3 is technically the best I just enjoyed DMC4 the most. The fight with that big ass statue was awesome and the size of GOW proportions.

You said that DMC1 is the best one for you, but you didn't even play DMC3. The conclusion is: these two facts don't look good together.

I hope you'll like DMC3. It's a great game, but it's also extremely juvenile in the bad way. I'm always torn between DMC1 and DMC3. DMC3 has an enormously improved gameplay, but DMC1 has much more flair in other departments.

It's not going to be a "NG3 situation". It's going to be loved by 10-15 year olds because of how it looks and it's going to be hated by the old DMC fans becasue of... everything (they didn't fucking want this at all). Capcom will make a sequel saying that it was a total success despite barely making a profit. They're that stubborn.

They have good workers, but they lack good vision because of having a certain tasteless dick as a master. Going out of business wouldn't be so bad for them. Maybe they would actually start making truly great games as parts of different teams.

Look Robocop has not had a film in 20 years and the two sequels bombed. DMC4 was the most successful in the series. This new Dante is a badly badly written character. The political agenda is BS. 25 FPS?! Really?! Dear god just release it already so Ninja Theory can get shut down and have that talent to better studios.
