Regardless of what the product is, the sale of just about anything through a local store will benefit the economy. People are quick to demonize the rich just for being successful, but they wouldn't have that success without an extremely expansive network of people working under them, both in and outside of their own companies.
It's not just a force of shirtless slave labor turning a crank underground somewhere.

Vast amounts of people selling them? That's not "vast amounts" by any stretch considering the global economy. People who sit behind counters and pass stuff, occasionally adding PR bullshit, aren't going to save any economy. By using generalizations such as "the sale of just about anything through a local store will benefit the economy", you indulge in logical fallacies. Quite frankly, the whole recent crisis was build on the supposition that selling things will have to generate income. Seems logical, just that it isn't. It builds tremendous greed of the companies that focus on perfecting modern slavery and it forces governments to emit worthless papers with no backing in the factual state of the economy. People buy overpriced stuff with worthless papers and virtual money. The so-called rich of our times are often people sitting on a pile of nothing. It's not like in the old days when rich people actually had material valuables. Minerals, lands, artefacts, knowledge, weapons, genealogy... All of that was bought and sold so many times over that it either lost its worth or was monopolized. The world has changed and we are building bubble economies. It's bound to backfire sooner or later.

I'm not trying to debate as I know diddly poo about economics and this was years ago I heard it but people relying to much on credit cards really hurt economy. Remember Credit Cards are fake money. It's just saying I will pay you later..hopefully. Now with gas prices going up and food prices and pay checks are staying the same it's harder for people to buy with actual money. People buying iPhones and Wii U are rarely dropping a few bills on a table but a piece of plastic.

Bayonetta is a brand that we want to see become stronger, reaching the hands of more and more gamers, so we have continued to consult with Sega, the previous game’s publisher, on how we can make sure this takes place. Our answer was a new partnership with Nintendo.

That's from the head of PG, Tatsuya Minami. It shows why you shouldn't use PR. What he just said simply doesn't make sense. Releasing Bayo 2 on a Nintendo's launching platform is the exact opposite of "reaching the hands of more and more gamers".

Just say that SEGA killed it (the bitches) and Nintendo revived by, but through a Faustian bargain that gave them exclusivity until the end of time (because Ninny doesn't fuck around when it comes to business).

Yes they want to attract more gamers buy ignoring the Millions who own a 360/PS3/PC and of course the people who bought the first game.

Well technically, he says he wants the Bayonetta brand to reach the hands of more and more gamers, not necessarily this particular game itself... the brand has already reached the 360 and PS3 crowd, and now it's going to reach the Nintendo crowd with a different game. ;-)

Yeah, I'm just being douchey. What the guy said makes no sense.

More people had Wiis then 360s and Ps3s combined, if the Wiiu ends up the same way then it'll reach more people.

Its also said often that niche games and new IPs sell best at the start of a consoles life, so theres a good chance Bayonetta 2 will sell more copies then the original (considering every Wii game thats been ported to other consoles still did best on Wii)

I think that Bayo 2 will sell badly on Wii U and that there's going to be a drama about it. The majority of Wii buyers don't give a flying fuck about something like Bayo 2. It appeals only to core gamers and they will buy Wii U for it... if they can afford it. Sadly, I'm pretty sure many can't.

It's not long now. We'll see.

Not quite but yes it is normally good to be a launch title as people tend to buy several games but of course it could be a great game but still get ignored [see Condemned].

I'm staying in the wait and see on this as I'm worried what MS and Sony are going to come out with next.

You guys it's not a launch game. Not even in the launch window. It's out later next year.
