Well Far Cry 3 is sounding excellent. 10/10 from EG. I don't usually like FPS's that much, but I did like FC2, and I like the sound of this too.

Perhaps this will help us forget about Hitman Abomination?

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say he's being "whiny," I just seriously doubt the game is so far removed from the old games that it qualifies as an "abomination". Looks like a damn fine game to me, whether the occasional target is killed in a cutscene or not (I know, that's only one of the problems people have cited, but I'm being pithy so as not to ramble).

Every gen feels like a downgrade in quality.



Still works,just doesn't center anymore.Yet,my ps2 controller is at the point where the rubber has completely worn off but it still centers perfectly.Same goes to my DC and PS1 controllers.

Fuck man replace them. I'm wierd and often have 5-6 controllers per system.

DICE's Stockholm studio has 300 people and no, not all of them are working on Battlefield content, EA Games Vice President Patrick Soderlund tells OXM. DICE launched Mirror's Edge in 2008, but since then it's been all Battlefield, all the time, with Battlefield 4 scheduled for beta next fall.

Asked whether taking a risk on a Mirror's Edge-type game is worth it when Battlefield is so lucrative, Soderlund responds, "Well it depends, right? Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. It's also important for us – the DICE guys are roughly 300 people in the Stockholm studio; not all of them are working on Battlefield things, and that's intentional, because we don't want to become a Battlefield factory."

Really nice to hear. Mirror's Edge is one of those games I'm practically in love with, and it always felt like an obvious labor of love for them. It single-handedly made me like DICE, despite never having played a single Battlefield game (though I do know the Battlefield games are great; seen my brother play, and they're far superior to CoD in my eyes).
So whether they're working on Mirror's Edge 2 or just a new project altogether, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Me and i had my first failed hit by cut scene mission last night but to be fair it made sense in advancing the story line.
If the game has too many failed hits/deaths via cut scenes then yes that will suck.

Wow...I was looking at some games I have in my closet..totally forgot I have Red Dead Redemption. Don't even remember where I left off.Gives me a reason to delete my saved data and start fresh.
