Sometimes I think Microsoft seems to stifle creativity with their "Make EVERYTHING work with IE + Windows" mentality.

I used IE on my new PC just to download chrome. Only time I ever us IE is to download another browser

To their credit, IE9's better than any recent versions of Firefox. It may just run well on Windows 7, I ain't sure, but it's defo the best browser I've ever used, imo.

So... You haven't tried it. Performance wise, the only thing that seems to match it is an old version of Firefox through Windows XP on a high end computer. With minimal processes running.

IE still has big security issues. Esp through Active X and Java. Something Chrome users don't have to worry about.

in those it often happens even on "safe" sites. Most often without the users knowledge without clicking or downloading anything. Java is just a walking 16 year old white girl walking down compton naked saying ANYONE WANT TO FUCK ME?!

all I was playing was Magic The Gathering, probably one of the most low Bandwith games you can play. Still I have never heard of it stopping the DL all together, was there something I missed in the user agreement update?

I was having a laugh at how all the Metroid games seem to end looking through stuff on youtube and I could not help but ask the question; Would having Samus all to yourself for a night be worth it, if it meant your house would self destruct after she left in the morning?

IE9, I used IE6 for literally years without ANY problems. Tried Firefox, hated it. Opera, it was OK, so it was my "backup browser". Chrome is what I use now. I gave IE9 a try, like, a real try with a few chances when I saw something "wrong" with it, 'cos I knew I liked IE before, but just couldn't see any point sacking Chrome off for it, especially when I have an Android phone so syncing it all up is easy.

You can set the PS3 to switch itself off when the download has finished. Select to turn off the system and there's a checkbox to activate it..
