Virtua Striker and Cyber Troopers Virtual On coming to XBLA.

Still have VS2 for the DC and my god i don't think ive ever had such a hard time just scoring let alone winning a game as i did with that. Would rather Sega bought WWS if they really wanted to bring one of their football titles to digital stores.

Still always loved VO

I've always wanted to try Virtual-On. I remember being blown away by the graphics in one of them as a kid (may have been at the arcade). Might have to get a Saturn sooner than later after all...

Yeah it was a fun game and you can already get Virtual On Oratorio Tangram on XBLA which was a really good port.

I remember getting virtual on for the Dreamcast back when it was still $50. Well worth it in my opinion, I gave friends nightmares over Temjin's surf board attack.

I have both games. Really fun Robot fighter. One issue however it Saturn and DC only had one Analog stick and made a game that should be fast and fun to tank controls til you got used to it. Surprised you have not got them.

I was lucky enough to play Virtual On in my local arcade back in the day. Absolutely loved it. A real classic arcade gem. May have to borrow my brother's 360 to play these...

Let the stupid Americans pay for their games indeed. Piracy is unbelievably prominent in China as well.

I don't see why developers would care anyway, it's not like they target these regions in their marketing so barely count them as potential sales

the "let the stupid Americans pay for their games" was probably said by some 14 year old cod kiddie and the writer decided to pass it off as general sentiment when in fact he said it himself that the pc market is booming thanks to steam sales etc, I doubt it would be booming if as many people as he says thinks it's stupid to pay

typical kotaku article

Mel Gibson. Plays a Scot in Braveheart, then what happens? He turns into a racist alcoholic who beats his wife. ;-)

Who originally said that?

I'm kind of twisted with the things I'll change in my games. There were two ideas in Conqueror that got called out, and while both got rewritten one got darker while the other got lightened.

It was mentioned that people might not react well to Cannibalism, so instead of eating their enemies Atabians(a race I based off my own Carib ancestors) take an item from their enemy (ie armor, weapons, scrap of uniform)

The other was that a male character makes a few sexual attempts at a male priest.

I rewrote it into a rape scene that changes the priest's perception
