Really I never knew that. I been down there before but I always assumed Atlanta was the county, like it was its own thing.

but yea its called East Fulton because me and Shawn are from the Lower East Side, and we used to hang out alot in Fulton, which is right by the Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall. A big chunk of the game takes place in a stylized lower Manhattan. Its a really sleezy area despite all the celebrities and people, for a while SNL even opened with "from the most dangerous city in america" and showed lots of shots from the area.

Crowd-sourced fundraising sites like Kickstarter have been an incredible boon to the independent development community. They democratize the process by allowing consumers to support the games they want to see developed and give the developers the freedom to experiment, take risks, and design without anyone else compromising their vision. It's the kind of creative luxury that most major, established studios simply can't afford. At least, not until now.

In the wake of Double Fine's success, Interplay is now crowd funding the sequel to Wasteland.

Okay, truthfully, I never heard of Wasteland before. I'm not too big into Isometric RTS/RPGs. But i've seen one gameplay vid of the original and I understand it was the precursor to the first two games in the Fallout series. I've played a little bit of the original Fallout and I know two friends of mine absolutely love the series. Looks like this one is going to be a reality as well since they also got nearly the budget they asked for in 24 hours.

I want to donate for the pitch vid alone.
