I love that you can do the old "pretending to be a prisoner" tactic.
One of those "oldest trick in the book" kinds of things.

Ubisoft wants you to "declare your independence" with an Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition pre-order this Independence Day week, and the whole tie-in works as this edition includes an American flag. Today, they've released full details on what this $119.99 special edition will include:

I'm so tired of studios putting out live-action trailers. They almost always come off as unintentionally cheesy and ineffective.

Hopefully lending a bit of credibility to the feature film of Assassins Creed, it's been confirmed today that Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, X-Men : First Class) will produce and star in the lead role.

So they are making a movie? Which game will it be based on, or will it be a hybrid of all of them?

Early reports are that it will be set around the first game, which makes sense if you want to you know, start a series from the beginning, rather than jump into 2. You hope they'll give a bit more personality to Altair than in the game. Fassbender has the talent to pull it off for sure.
