Maybe there'll be some kind of brotherhood in III as well.

there is, thats how Connor gets recruited to start with. And yea Brotherhood and Revelations have TDM, so its most likely real story co-op or co-op missions or something.

Can you play and get the full story without online junk or cop op junk?

Sure can.Multiplayer wasn't included until Brotherhood.Though 2 DNA segments on Assassins Creed 2 were cut out and sold as DLC.Pretty sure the same happened with Brotherhood, but it's nothing major really.

the DLC in 2

Wasen't really a big deal just kind of cements Sforza and Macahivelli as characters that would normally be done through padding.

I haven't noticed any single player DLC stuff in Brotherhood, but I'm like halfway through. Revelations i only put in my console ones, right now its somewhere under a mound of papers on my desk, but I think I saw somthing like "lost archive" on XBL marketplace and i'm assuming thats an extra memory.

Good because I don't believe in paying full price for a disc and not getting the full game on it.

There is only one piece of DLC for brotherhood that was cut.
It's called The Da Vinci Disappearance.Same as ACII,nothing major.

There's also the free Copernicus missions, though they' aren't as substantial as the other DLC.

As far as I know, the extra single-player content in II and Brotherhood (with the exception of the Copernicus Conspiracy, which is free on the PS3 version) was created after the games were done. The intention to make them was likely there already, but they weren't "cut" content. They were like expansion packs, just the same as what used to always come out for PC games back in the day.

And @Ryudo, no, they aren't essential to anything, but they are a nice addition to helping develop certain characters here and there. Caterina Sforza's relationship with Ezio in Brotherhood is a little more understandable if you played the Battle of Forli DLC in ACII, and the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC helps flesh out (you guessed it) Leonardo Da Vinci a good amount (great character by the way).
It's all extra (you're getting the full game regardless), but it's all still worthwhile.

Maybe I've been blind to it this whole time but it's pretty cool how they worked the Assassin's Creed logo into the tomahawk.

I hadn't even noticed until you said it, but yeah, that is pretty sweet.
So hyped that this is coming out this year.

I was going to say how stupid that is until I actually watched the video.
The little girl with the Wii controllers at the end just makes it that much better.

Just a quick preview, but it sounds pretty sexy (not sure if any of this has been mentioned before).
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/34 ... ow/?page=1

Up to 2000 characters can be on-screen at once, so I guess large-scale battles are an inevitability.
And I like how the setup of the world sounds. Two main cities (Boston and New York) with lots of wilderness between them, apparently even larger in size than Rome was in Brotherhood (which was quite big to begin with).

Just sounding better and better.

Sounds like the 2000 NPC's applies to the cities as well? That sounds amazing.
