desmond is probably now locked inside the animus like the other guy who was in AC2

Except that he wasn't hooked up to the Animus when he "died" at the end of AC3, so that wouldn't really be a possibility.
Would have been a cool twist for later, but it doesn't seem like it'd make much sense.

They aren't dragging it out, really. They ended Desmond's story with AC3, so there's that. But it's a series that was always meant to be continuous; unless it stops selling outright, I don't imagine we'll ever get to a concrete ending.
It's better to take it as an ongoing tv show, rather than a limited series.

Wearing Altiar's Armor and the carnival mask. Ezio right now looks like a Renaissance Batman

So they do exist. Just that the mansion isn't in the villa. Still I been looking into AC and all these people and locations. I'm really blown away how much homework was done. This is an incredible amount of detail. I think that's the most brilliant part so far is that you feel like this could have really happened. Not had this feeling in terms of detail since Shenmue

Going off the comments and on other forums. Many still disappointed with it.

I think the most impressive real-world setting in the series thus far is Constantinople from Revelations. The problem is, people aren't automatically familiar with the sights and style of Constantinople in general, so most didn't seem to appreciate it much.

Whoever designed this golden mask bit sucks a dick. Yes I suck whatever but I never did well with timers and I'm not doing the 16 checkpoints. I gave up on it and that is the end of ACII for me rest is on Youtube but I'm done. Pussy gamer for me. I just can't do it
