Downloaded the demo, liked it, but the top difficulties were mad hard! May pick it up though, looks like it'd be a blast online, but it'd have to go some to beat Wii Mario Kart. That is utter hilarity online!

I know what you mean, took me about four/five goes to beat the Hard difficulty. Can't imagine what All-Stars difficulty will be like..

As in it fucks you with cheap tricks on the last lap etc.? "Hard" hard, as in the boost mode you had to be consistently good at getting the boosts, and in race mode the opposition was that bit faster, though the weapons did come at me a bit more as well. Overall mostly hard for the right reasons though, but the demo is only two tracks...

I think it kinda does, none of us ever got that far away from one another, unless I was doing spectacularly bad crashing all over the place and being left behind.

EDIT since I didn't answer in the last post either, I'll be getting it on the 360, if I get it.

^haha, that would be awesome, great concepts for Segata Sanshiro to be in the game.

I bought the game yesterday and have been playing it pretty much since I got back from work today.
This game is much much more fun than the original the only thing that disappoints and confuses me some of the exclusions and inclusions into the lineup, I mean obviously I couldn't wait to play a video game with Danica Patrick and they really did need to drop Alex Kidd, Opa Opa & the Bonanza Brothers..
It really does bother me, I mean Alex Kidd has a speedboat, a helicopter & a motorbike in his very first game FFS which covers the flying, water and road sections ....oh well...

Nonetheless it is still a great game and hopefully they at least bring Alex Kidd back via DLC.

That was Zavvi's deal. Games got off to a slow start in the UK coming in at 27 so who knows they might end up keeping it at that price.
