It's a nostalgia thing mostly. I remember being hyped up to fuck about it at the time as it was cursed with the title of "SEGA's Mario 64 attack plan" pre-release, which was obviously fucking stupid as it simply doesn't compare with that game at all. However I still fell in love with it, despite it's flaws, but yeah looking back I'd say it is massively overrated tbh.

That's cool. It's definitely not for everyone. I would suggest returning back to Journey and playing the whole thing though. Having a quick bimble through the desert won't give you a good impression of how marvellous that game is.
