I don't doubt it.
Despite the lack of Meguro and Kaneko (aside from demon designs), this sucker still feels completely legit as a mainline Megaten. The otherworldly visions at the beginning are classic SMT. Got me right back in the mood for it all pretty much immediately.

I also have to say: this is the absolute best use of 3D that I've seen on the system so far. Nevermind that the graphics are fantastic anyway; the sheer depth to everything when you move the camera close behind the protagonist is amazing (provided that the 3D slider is all the way up).

Oh, and dying for the first time provided a big surprise.

I just expected to see another beautifully-rendered SMT Game Over screen, as per the usual, but the twist to it was actually really cool. I didn't choose to pay the fee, but it was a really cool option anyway. Nice alternative to the standard "continue/load game" options.

Its one of the few really good uses of 3D, generally I try it out then stop playing with it but I play using 3d a lot in this game.

Watching the Missus play Catherine has piqued my interest in Atlus and I'd like to try one of the newer SMT games, you guys have any recommendations?

4 is pretty easy to get into and has references to all the others. Theres also Persona 4 which is kind of the same thing. You can get SMT4 on 3ds, and Persona 4 on Vita.

Atlus opens November 24 teaser site
It has to be Persona 5, right? Right?!

Atlus has opened a new teaser site.

Available at p-ch.jp, the site sports a bright red background, the date November 24, time 20:00, and a host of cities including Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Sappooro.

Three empty boxes can been seen at the top of the page. And at the bottom, next to the Atlus logo, the P-Studio logo, for Atlus’ Persona team.

News of the teaser site’s launch comes from the official Persona Twitter account.

It has begun! (A Persona Arena sequel has been announced already, so it's not that).

I've honestly never played a single game in the either series (except Arena, but not sure if that counts lol). I've had Persona 4 for vita in my amazon cart for months now, and just never pulled the trigger. I was always interested in them, just never got around to it. I remembered reading about Revelations: Persona in EGM back in middle school and it looked sooo good, but it was impossible to find where I lived at the time.

How? "It has begun" was meant with regards to a countdown for Persona 5. A rather highly anticipated game. Even SEGA can't put a stop to Persona 5. It's been in development for a very long time now.
