American vs. PAL vs. Japanese

So this topic is about comparing the different regions game covers and which one you prefer and why. ( I know Ico will be brought up here for sure)

The only reason I used all PS3 covers was because I couldn't find any good sized 360 ones.

The Japanese cover wins here to me. It's simple and the A6M2 Zero and its successors are one of the best fighters ever to be made, make that best planes ever to fly. And it shows the power of Japan without having to show other countries planes on fire. And a single plane which doesn't make it too cluttered and some clouds and a horizon to compliment it. I also like the PAL cover more too because of the view point, looking down the barrel of its cannons as its aiming to shot down the Zero. The Japanese obviously didn't want to depict their planes on fire like we did here in America and Europe. Kind of a funny observation but a true one for sure. Here we have the P-38 Lighting on the NTSC and PAL covers which is also one of the best planes ever to fly, but its power is only shown through its gun and the fact that the Japanese planes are on fire and crashing.

Panzer Dragoon Saga: While I really do like the Japanese cover art, there's something I just love about the US cover. It's simpler but I think it's ... I don't know I just like it :P I think it mainly has to do with the expression on Edge and Azel's faces.

I'm sure many people will disagree.

I've also always liked the cheesy American fantasy art on the cover of Suikoden more so than the Japanese cover. Not sure why, just do.

I fkin hate the US boxart for Phantasy Star 2, I always fealt it made the characters look to0 old and disjointed from the game's real focus. Loved the Japanese one tho.

I don't understand Capcom's thinking when they used this abomination in place of the Jap cover:
