You didn't know what Ys was. Don't make me sick Ryudo on you.

Cool video, though. I would love to take in all that Japanese gaming goodness. It would be so hard for me to not spend every dime in my pocket there.

Fanboyism aside. If you are a fan of RPG's and/or Zelda then yes give it a try. But you can get it on PSP,Wii VC,DS,Steam. If not a fan of JRPGs or Zelda then no.

I think it's name is a bit of a turn off which is unfortunate.

i think this game would be more of a turn off to westerners since the title though very exotic in a japanese sense is still mosttly apppealing to japanese gamers or those that love japanese games

In the 80's-early 90's would have done fine in the US if it was on NES & SNES instead of TG16. While it was on Famicom and in the west on Master System,NES and SNES were much better selling systems. Tho Genesis and SNES did have Ys III but that was the black sheep of the series and the SNES version was botched.

I dont think anyone here could walk out of that store with their pants NOT thoroughly soiled, if we could actually walk out at all, I would imagine most of us would be on the ground convulsing and foaming at the mouth. But yeah, that place looks amazing... Oh, japan, why must I have never visited thee?

X2. I doubt I live long enough. Just will always have the dream. If I ever do get to go. I plan to die there. Japan is one of the main reasons I keep going
