As you may be able to tell from my previous post, I've been in a Turrican mood lately. So I decided to pop in Universal Soldier on the Mega Drive; If you didn't know Universal Soldier is basically a butchered port of Turrican 2.

At one stage of the game you'll enter an underwater section and be greeted to some quite unusual, yet interesting music:

That classic 90s PSX electro goodness (my favourite video game music sound).

I kept trying to place where I'd heard that groan in this song while I was playing Lisa, and it finally hit me; It's fucking Delin from Shenmue 2! From when you're moving crates or whatever (been a while).
Weird coincidence for this to pop up in the first Steam game I bought.
The track made me laugh my ass of when I was playing the game though, regardless of whether I could place it or not.

Exactly. This game is batshit crazy, and some of the music is a huge part of that. Great game all the same though.

^i gotta admit that song made me laugh...

10000 bullets has a pretty cool jazzy soundtrack. The whole ost stays consistent and never tries anything outlandish, or drastically different from one track to the next. It also somehow manages to suit the game which is weird since I would associate a game like 10000 bullets with fast techno, hard rock or something to that effect.

Before rambling on too long here is a track from one of the coolest jazz ost's I've heard in a game 8) :

^^I guess it should be mentioned, every single picture or video that you've tried to post so far has only shown up as a link (and the pictures only ever link to a "not found" image).
Just use [img] or [video] tags.

strange you mention that.
the tags used are a given, i've done nothing different other than to wrap em in a collapse tag.
(it's a bit much when a shitload of visible vids and images are on a thread, takes ages to scroll, and chunks up browser. that's just me.)
the tags used are no different, another posted in the recent purchases thread with pretty much the same result afaiwc, saw the raw link was supplied, and it worked.
i guess i'll use the code board tag wrapper to show the raw source for others this issue may effect. :P
thanks for the tip all the same. 8)
[edit]
and i can still see all the vids/images i've posted.
it seems to effect a few, not all.
