Random Gaming Thoughts (Read OP Before Posting)

I think they still need to work on some of the randomization. I'd need to sit and look at why but something about it "feels" wrong. Still its a big step, now if they could focus on offline and co-op experiences we'd be cool.

Yeah they also increased the randomization of the maps. Its a plus because no two loot runs on the same act play out the same, but at the same time is does make it feel a bit off. I can't put my finger on it as to why though. I honestly feel my Monk is a little OP now as well. But that might just be because the armor I have actually has useful stats for the first time and I'm not used to it lol. I think it definitely needs some balancing, but like you said its a big step from what it was. I don't think I'll ever get over not having an offline mode

I have a question for those of you who've played Persona 2: Do I need to play Innocent Sin before I play Eternal Punishment or will I be just fine with starting with Eternal Punishment? If not I'll find and burn the fan translation... but I'd prefer not to cause I'm lazy.

Innocent Sin is essential to understand the events of Eternal Punishment, I think. It'd be like starting Metal Gear at MGS2 or Digital Devil Saga 2 before DDS1; you may understand some stuff, I guess, but really you'll be sort of lost.

February was an unproductive month for me. I didn't finish a single title I started, I just kept bouncing around from game to game because I wanted to try them all. About to finish Danganronpa so hopefully that starts a chain reaction and I can cross some more of these of my list.

Pac-Man is great.
I give at least enough of a fuck about Pac-Man to be bothered by the lame new direction they're pointing him in (the new cg cartoon they've been making is just... not good).

Ah -- ok thank you. I'll go ahead and burn myself a copy of the Innocent Sin translation. I appreciate it. Kind of a bummer that the game never came out here (originally) considering how important it is.

I'm borrowing my friends PSP now... but I was wondering if Persona 1 was worth playing? Has anybody played through the first game or should I just go ahead and skip to number 2? I apparently can't make any decisions for myself...

I haven't played it but from what everyone has told me it was a very mediocre game.

I haven't played P1, but what what I've been told it doesn't hold up as well as P2 does. What I have played of Innocent Sin so far is pretty awesome, so I say just start with that. You can always go back and play the first one later.
