On a different note, if you want one of what will be the rarest physical games now is your chance. I picked up both a PS4 and Vita copy when the first half of their stock went on sale this morning. Second batch just went live, and PS4 is now sold out. Vita is still in stock. There are only 2500 copies world wide for the Vita, 1980 for the PS4, and at 24.99 you can't beat the price. Its been getting great reviews since the digital version released. Worth taking a look if you are a Vita fan. Can't wait to play it.

There have only ever been two times I've fallen into this trap: Halo Wars, back in 2009 - I bought the Limited Edition just so I could get instant access to the Mythic Map Pack in Halo 3; and very recently with The Phantom Pain - I actually paid real money for Mother Base Coins so I could purchase a new FOB. The latter wasn't so bad as I already had a decent amount of MB Coins saved up, but I still think it's bullshit to force people to engage in microtransactions if they wish to increase their staff capacity without having to wait months and months (quite literally) to earn enough naturally.

No one is forced into anything. If you think it's a shitty product then don't buy it. If you really want stuff like micro transactions to go away then don't buy them. People can bitch about them all they want but enough people obviously don't mind and buy them otherwise they wouldn't waste their time and money making them.

I've tried countless times to get into 2D fighting games, like Street Fighter or King of Fighters (and many others), and i just can't seem to like them. I think I'm just going to give up and stick with 3D Fighters. I guess 2D Fighters just aren't for me.

I got Sleeping Dogs for ten buck on playstation. There are a lot of points where it feels similar to Shenmue 2.

I also recently played through it, didn't feel any Shenmue II vibes though. But it's a really really good game, I had much fun and got sucked into doing most of the side activities before finishing the main story. Like the street races for example. Great stuff. Good soundtrack, too. And while it's not on a GTA level graphics wise, it's still really pretty. Hong Kong looks great, especially when you're racing through the city during a rainy night, with all the neon signs reflecting in the wet street and your car. Beautiful.

Edit: Oh, and you have to do the "Wheels of Fury" missions as soon as they become available. That car.
