Man Ys should just be called "Balance: The game" Everything in it worked out to such a meticulous fucking detail especially the bump system. its possessed of a complex simplicity that most casual and "midcore" games wish they could master.

Going back and actually looking at some of these older games as systems and even as storytelling machines I'm starting to zero in on some of what has been lost over the last decade or so of game design.

Finally signed up for GoG. Did they seriously just give me Ultima games and others for free? The hell is the catch? :shock:

Nope its freeware so instead of trying to sell it they patch it and let you have it. They also give out games randomly at times like I got the original Duke nukem games and Divinity 2 for free just cause.

Listening to my Xenogears CD's on the stereo. Game is great but personally I like the OST more. I also enjoyed XB more as a game. Not saying it's better or XG is better. XB had a nice OST but XG I will say has a far better OST IMO and one of the best on PSone. To me the best OST's on PSone are in no real order,Final Fantasy IX,Chrono Cross,Xenogears & Suikoden II.

I just need the Suikoden OST now.

Yuji Naka's done it... he's gone and created the fishing game I've always wanted... I used to struggle finding great games on the wii, but now they just keep popping up out of nowhere! I'm getting this game as soon as I have the opportunity!

so apparently they are coming out with a hard cover guide for the KH 1.5 remix. I have the original guide for the first KH, but this one is looking pretty sexy, im trying to figure if it will be worth a purchase. I am not sure if I should pre-order now or just wait and buy it once it comes out. The game comes out September 10th and the guide comes out September 24th... weird. Maybe I'll wait for some reviews for the guide, im still pretty interested in it though.

Restriction of using the enemy's weapon was because of the future setting w/ ID weapons. Next game setting is in old days so u can use them.
