I'll say Vagrant Story, because I do love a good bit of solitary atmosphere, and the PS1 gives me a boner anyway.
But it's damn close. FFXII is still awesome.

I think it's just a mood thing for me, because now I'm thinking about XII, all the time I devoted to it, and how much freakin content there is to do in it, and suddenly I'm leaning more toward that.

Man you're on a roll with these. This will kill OL, if you put Nocturne Vs SMT 2 I think I'd pass out.

I'm going to say Nocturne but only by a slim margin. If I were in a different mood I'd likely say DDS.

Actually, with that one I think I have a clear-cut preference: Digital Devil Saga. It was my first SMT, and as such has a really special kind of nostalgia attached to it. It's also more story-focused, which is fantastic, and also isn't quite as hardcore as Nocturne. I love that Nocturne is difficult, of course, but unless I'm in a certain mood, more often than not I prefer to just enjoy my games rather than having to work at them (and as much as I love it, Nocturne definitely is work much of the time).
So yeah, it is a slim margin, but I do think I prefer DDS.

Fuck that's hard. I like FFVI more but going to say Chrono Trigger as it was a new and original game and still not much like it.



Mega Man Legends or Mega Man X

Mega Man X. side note saw a post a couple pages back about Uncharted 2 vs the new TR. My choice is Uncharted 2 hands down. Now TR is a great game and will nothing but push the next Uncharted game forward. Competition is a good thing in that regard.
