Mistwalker is working on a Wii U game so no Lost Odyssey.
Shenmue is happening by Infinity ward. Gritty FPS reboot.

3D Streets of Rage Coming To Nintendo 3DS
http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/28/3d ... tendo-3ds/
It looks like another of Sega’s 3D Classics for the Nintendo 3DS has been revealed. Hot on the heels of the 3D Shinobi III leak comes 3D Streets of Rage. This one was leaked by the Australian Classification Board.

But, actually, not from SEGA's mouth (at least, yet).

Its coming to Japan

Because all those western games like EA and CoD and lack of Japanese 3rd party support and still using a name with X in it something they don't like really shows they care. They said they would release it in Japan but when asked when MS is shrugging its shoulders and doesn't even know right now themselves. Yes they are so committed there.

Doesn't matter it has FF or KH either as in Japan that will sell on PS4(hell even in the west sell better on PS4). Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter on Nintendo(which is to them what CoD and Halo are here). MS outside of that um? Sony has Support from Level-5 making consoles games,Nintendo Mistwalker and not counting first party. Nintendo and Sony have western and Japanese studios they own as well. MS has western.

The focus on mainly UK/US TV services. MS unlike the beginning of XB or X360 when they tried now know they can't do it there. So they are not even sure what to do. They are not begging Japanese devs to support them with Japanese games and esp RPGs. It's getting token support at best with ports and MS does not seem to bothered about it. MS is about at excited about Japan as Dick Cheney is helping people after Katrina. Being present doesn't mean they care and they have pretty much proved they don't anymore have any real commitment.

MS still has plenty of Japanese support and Mistwalker are not exclusive to Nintendo just like they were not exclusive to XBox this gen. They also proved this gen they can have more than 1 game in development at one time.

Why would MS change their consoles brand name for Japan? Even if it was called something else they still wouldn't rush out to buy it let alone over the PS4/3DS.

Look at this gen, MS secured a crap load of Japanese style games and other than a few sales jumps[even out selling the PS3 for a month at one point] Japanese gamers just haven't really accepted the console.
Also with the console not even out for a few more months its silly to claim they have not secured any Japanese style games for the console even more so with TGS still to come which is the best place to try and attract the Japanese gamer.

You're living in a river of denial if you really think XBO has any hope in Japan. Mistwalker is not likely to head back to MS due to Xbox selling like utter shit over there. Sakaguchi is also sworn off Sony because how they treated him. Serious Japanese support? Riiiiiiight that's why it has Dragon Quest,Monster Hunter,Atlus,Namco,Level-5,Vanillaware,NIS,Natsume,Kadokawa and smaller Japanese studios plus RPG only developers in a line as long as a 2 foot tall midgets dick. .

Would you name Capcom,Konami? You mean western developed Dead Rising 3 for a western audience or MGSV that does better in the west and Kojima and Konami like Capcom trying to make more western appealing games? Micrsoft owns how many studios in Japan? 0. Everyone who tried to make Xbox 360 what it was and tried to make it work in Japan is gone. Now you have twats in suits like Dan and Nelson as the face who have no clue. While Sony and Nintendo have a developer showing the way in Cerny and Iwata.

Xbox fails in japan 1. The name alone puts them off in a really bad way. 2. When they did try and appeal to Japan it's the equiv of grandpa trying to be hip with teenagers. Clueless and don't get it and now it's even worse. 3 yeah they won't accept a company that does not get the market. Like a bad comedian MS does not know it's audience and tells the wrong jokes to the wrong crowd. If you want to brag about 360 outsellubg PS3 for one month. Guess what outsold 360 for a month in Japan only a few years ago when DSi was out. Game Boy Advance. A dead system outsold it.

MS will never sell in Japan. MS even discontinued 360 in Japan early and it never even hit 2 mill. Vita has already outsold 360 in Japan lifetime sales.

Please show where I said the X1 has any hope in Japan? All I said was MS has Japanese publisher/Dev support.
BIG difference and seeing as you even pointed out many Japanese studios are trying to attract Western gamers anyways now days MS will still be happy in that sense.

Never bragged about it beating PS3 just used it to show the console has had the odd spike due to some games but in large the gamers in Japan don't care for the product.

MS will do what they have had to do in Japan and that's take what ever few sales they can get. And again why should MS change the consoles brand name? Japanese gamers still wouldn't buy it no matter what it was called.
All they can do is what they did this gen and that's try to sign up as many deals as possible or simply accept its never going to happen.

And if MS asked/paid Mistwalker to do another game they would and Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon sold better out side Japan.
By what you said they shouldn't be making a Wii U game as that's selling like shit all over right now and not just Japan and TLS sadly flopped on the Wii.

Please actually read what I say and not just go on another I gotz to hate on MS post.

The Last Story Is Xseed’s Most Successful Title

Sold just over half a mill.
Mistwalker also expressed they were happy with TLS sales. Wii U sales are slow now til a dumb Mario game hits and yet another Mario Kart and then sell 10-15 million systems. Also Again Mistwalker happy and so is Xseed with TLS sales, not to mention Sakaguchi has a real good relationship with them right now. He also likes working close to former Square staff.Mistwalkers other projects are mobile
Wii U and Sony will be fine in Japan in the long run as various factors are in their favor over there. Xbox will never be ok there.

I love Blue Dragon,I even watched both uncut anime series in Sub since there is no dub and plant to play the rest of the series. I love LO. Mistwalker is my fave RPG developer right now outside Falcom. Just very unlikely they head back to the green tent. I'd rather have a BD2 and LO 2 then none at all but it's just not very likely to happen.

I wouldn't consider half a mill a success [unless of course the game cost very little to make] on a console that's sold just under 100M units.

And if saying XBox never has and never will do great in Japan is defending MS then :-s
