Was watching a "pregame show" where they were talking about what gears of war needs to be good again (i guess people didn't like judgement) all the stuff they mentioned was in gears 1 and got removed.

Controller looks nice. System looks like an off the shelf PC case.

Nothing show so far holds any interest to me. (as I type this it's Activision talking)

New console looks nice, Controller looks like the current made better and Kinect looks smarter.

Tv stuff is OK but i doubt ill use it much if at all.

This reveal was shit. They did nothing to dispel the negative rumors. They showed some shit EASports games and Call of Duty.

No platformers, no mmo, no variety of anything.

Good god, the console is like a off self Dell PC and the name is shit.

Well they said E3 would be about the games so with luck they have gotten the tv stuff out the way.

Want to see what the 8 new IP's are.

But on the whole the show was average/boring like Sony's. Console announcements used to be great. All comes down to E3 to see if i buy either console this year.

This reveal put my mind at ease. I was biting my nails with worry that the new Xbox wouldn't have sequels to Call of Duty, EA Sports titles or Forza Motorsport. Now I can breathe a heavy sigh of relief.

I actually didn't mind the Sony reveal. It at least showed off some interesting things and had a few more game trailers. All this was can be summed up in these bullet points:

- It's called Xbox One.
- It looks like a box.
- You can alt-tab between different forms of media.
- Kinect's better.
- Graphics are better than on the 360.
- Some shit about American football governing body or whatever utilising the technology.
- Yearly iteration franchise trailers.

That's not even being a cunt about it. That is honestly it.

I think Sony won the announcement round, and that's even without showing the console. I guess things will heat up during round 2 at E3.
