Apparently the first episode of Life Is Strange is now free on PC and consoles, so anyone who hasn't even given it a try yet - especially as a Shenmue fan - now has the perfect opportunity to get his or her freakin' act together.

^I have the plat for it. Why would a Shenmue fan need to try it?

Dragon Quest VIII is free on Android.

Because their kung-fu action sequences are a lot alike.

Tesco (UK) selling Xbox One S console with FIFA '17 for £199. Voucher code required, ends this weekend:

That's a great price even without the game.

For anyone with Star Wars Battlefront the Season Pass finally went down to $30 temporarily just after the new Death Star pack has released. $50 was stupid high. $30 is still high but for the 4 major packs id say it's alittle more worth it. The season pass will probably go back up to $50 soon so shit or get off the pot I guess. The expansion content is pretty good. Death Star is spot on the best recreation ever period.

I'm tempted, but even for $30 it doesn't seem enough value for the money to me. If waiting for groups to fill in vanilla is any indication then this gated content will be even worse. Once the initial hype fades the game does not have enough depth to hold players, leading to near empty queues.

Not sure how long the sale is lasting, but there's a flash sale on PSN right now which has both Digital Devil Saga games on PS3 for 3.99 each.
If you've never played the games and don't get them now, you're probably a bad person. It's just science.
That much excellent, non-cliche JRPG goodness for less than 10 bucks is a damn steal.

Now it's the PS4's turn for a huge discount in the UK (console plus FIFA '17 for £150), if you're not already too late:

Back from the dead!

Went snooping for a deal on the new DS4 AG mentioned and found this. Its the new revised controller and the official bluetooth adapter for PC. $39 for the pair is a steal.

Anyone who hasn't signed up to uPlay (Ubisoft's PC games portal), I recommend doing so. It's free to register, and every month (or thereabouts) I've been getting a free game. Currently it's Assassin's Creed III, last time it was Blood Dragon, and before that it was Beyond Good & Evil. So nothing terribly new, but free is free, and I've yet to buy anything from them.
