Best PC exclusive games

So just got a new Vaio Laptop.
Core i7-4500 1.8-3.0 ghz
Nvidia GT 735M 2GB
Ram: 8GB
1080p Triluminous IPS display

Looking to get into some PC games for abit while im waiting for my consoles to ship to me in Japan.
I already have a Steam account. What unique experiences should I be looking for?
At the moment im just redownloading SWTOR that I used to play back when it launched.
and have TF2 aswell.

If you're into MMO's you could always give Star Trek Online a go. It's free to play with no commitment. Kiba, teepo and I play.

I did play that a few times and thought it was ok. I might give it another go though cause it is free to play after all right?
Same with SWTOR though too now and I actually have some level 30's in that already I want to get back to.

If you're into horror games, I'd recommend Penumbra. Very Lovecraftian, but without resorting to giant lizard monsters or anything. It's all about isolation, exploration, and mindfucking. The story is phenomenal. Really impressive effort for a series made by such a tiny little independent dev team. The titles are a little confusing though, so just keep in mind that the first game is called Penumbra: Overture, and the second is called Penumbra: Black Plague

I've played Old Republic too but after an amazing first ten levels it seemed to gradually lose a lot of steam. I got bored with it at 41 and quit. A pity too, it has the best production values of any mmo on the market. I really wish they had just made a single player KOTOR 3 that did Revan's character some justice.

One of my favorite games of all time is a PC exclusive -- The Longest Journey. Its sequel, Dreamfall, is available on the xbox original but the first game is only available on PC.

I especially recommend it if you enjoy point and click adventures.

Civilization 5, Shogun 2 Total War, Tropico 4. Amazing strategy games, although Shogun 2 isn't available in Japan. Portal 1, 2 - decent puzzles with a funny story (in a sense). That's all I can recall on the train. I would give Crysis a go, too, if you didn't play it on the consoles. It's pretty old school, so if you like challenge, you owe it to yourself to try it.=)

The only PC exclusive games I have played recently are To The Moon and Gone Home (Although that's coming to consoles soon). I'd recommended them both highly but they're very story focused with little gameplay and about 2-3 hours long each.
