ha, yep it is a few dollars more with gamestop. That sucks because if I buy through the SE site, and try to use paypal they go ahead and take my money (as they did with KH HD CE), but im thinking it works the same way if I use paypal with gamestop. As opposed to say the NIS website, where I could use paypal and they didnt actually charge it till the release date. I dont have a extra $100 for them to hang onto for a game thats months away from release. Not sure who im gonna go with to pre-order this, but its looking like gamestop, even though I hate em...

I think the Kingdom Hearts CE being charged upfront was because the pre-order went up just a month or so before release. The email I got from SE today said I would be charged ten days before shipping around March 3rd, but that I might see a $1.00 authorization charge pending. I can post a shot of the email if ya want. Yeah NIS is the best when it comes to pre-orders.

Did you use pay pal though? in my experience pay pal usually has its own policy. the KH set also had in the fine print that it wouldnt charge your card until around the release date, pay pal apparently was not the case.

Yep, I always use PayPal if its an option. I ordered the KH set the day I posted it and they said to expect a charge from Pepita, the distribution company they use now. That was a month before the game released so they charged when you placed the order. The FF Type 0 order said they wouldn't charge until 10 days before shipment though, that's how its been for most of my SE orders except KH. PayPal charges shouldn't show up until the merchant requests payment. Might be something with your bank if they do. Some banks have different policies in place with online transactions.

ok I got my pre-order sorted, now I have to figure out trying to get a PS4 over the next few months, or at some point. Atleast i'll have the game.

That CE is nice, no doubt. Definitely a buy.

Just a pet peeve of mine though, I hate when CE's don't include the original box inside. I don't display my CE packaging or anything, it's more for collection purposes and to look through, yet I do put my retail cases on a shelf. Would love to have a normal case to keep the game easily accessible and with the rest. I notice many Japanese releases include the original packaging as well where as the other territories do not.

Oh man, had not seen the english version yet. im a bit excited about that game, even though I still kind of wish we had gotten the original concept which was Versus XIII and for PS3, just to see what it would have been like.

is the ff7 re-release on PS4 going to be digital or physical or both? common sense is telling me digital but o how i hope it will be physical...any ideas?

Its the PC version that came out a few years ago thats being ported. So its worth a buy for me even though I have it already.
