About goddamn time!
I was pining for one right after the game first came out. I held the original as my favorite game overall for a long time there. This is fantastic news.

Interesting that this is the first crowdfunding site that I've heard of where you invest in the game and actually get a piece of the pie.

It was fucking great, they need to pin down the 3d platforming though.

Great for a new platform of crowdfunding.

A new season of Samurai Jack yesterday. Psychonauts 2 today. The surprises keep coming this year.

Plus, the year's not over yet! Surely there's time in the next few weeks to resurrect a few more long-neglected IPs? :)

More seriously though, I wonder how easily Double Fine will meet their crowdfunding target this time? They upset a lot of people with how they handled Broken Age. But then again this is Psychonauts 2, which a cult following who might be willing to overlook Double Fine's mistakes for the sake of seeing this game made.

Either way we'll find out soon enough I suppose.

If you invest in the game (think minimum is $500), it needs to sell 693,638 copies before you break even.

If it sells as many copies as the first game did to date, you make $800 on a $500 investment.

Investments are separate from rewards.

Never heard of this game, it doesnt look like my cup of tee anyways but if some people are happy for this then great.

Now, will it surpass Shenmue 3 in Crowdfunding money?? =P~

Loved the original game. The opportunity to invest in it sounds very good to me.

It was the last game with good writing from schafer to be honest.

It's a 3d platformer/adventure, but the humour and scenarios were really creative.

Maybe, but I don't think so. Shenmue did 2 million in 8 hours.

But who knows, the DF adventure had almost 20k more backers than Shenmue.

Finally! Really happy about this. It'll easily reach its funding target. This is such a crazy year for videogames.
