Forza Horizon 3 looks pretty amazing. I would've liked some mountain setting with snow but the way they depict Australia is just brilliant. Jungle, desert, city, beach... it pretty much has everything. I especially like how there's water to drive through now. Even on the beach you can drive into the water. Looking forward for this!

For some reason I enjoyed the ubi conference more than the MS one. And from a gaming standpoint MS wasn't really bad and ubi was pretty meh.

I guess I just care more about bullshit than actual games.

Sony conference spoilers
No Shenmue of any variety, but Sony still absolutely killed it. Kojima's entrance was brilliant.

Sony's show has been awesome. A couple of the games look dumb but they still seemed to push them hard. The Days Gone and that fantasy transformers looking game were both unimpressive.

Loved the Spiderman, Kojma game, Star Wars, VR. RE VII, Last Guardian.

Still no Shenmue. That's a big disappointment. They could have at least brought Yu out or something. After the big press from last year's announcement they should have ridden that wave.

That was meh conference for me due to the lack of Japanese games. Where was Gravity Rush 2? Yakuza 0? Shenmue? (That was a shot in the dark anyway but still). FFVII Remake? At least Kojima's game looked cool, the rest though? Eh, the usual what you expect. Last of Us clone, PT clone (RE7), game that's taken too long in development, sci-fi games, CG trailers, God of Bore yadda yadda.

This E3 has been so predictable. Nowhere near as good as last year's.

I thought it was a really good show but there wasn't a single announcement as big as Last Guardian, FFVII Remkae or Shenmue III from last year. There was probably more overall but nothing that had me loosing my mind. The Kojima one would have been big if we hadn't known that he was working with Sony for about 6 months now.

Yeah, that and I find Shawn Layden a really boring presenter. Jack Tretton was much better. The lack of Gio Corsi, Shu Yoshida and Adam Boyes dropping bombs was missed this year (what happened to #BuildingTheList? Has it been retired now or something?). I was also surprised by the lack of Persona 5 and From Software not revealing their new game yet. Guess From just aren't ready yet and FFXV was the only JRPG Sony had time for.

I can shamelessly say that the crash bandicoot remasters are probably the games I'm hyped for the most from this E3 so far.

I'm just gonna leave this here.

Trails of Cold Steel II got two Best of E3 nominations even though it's only the first day.

Hadn't seen it yet, but apparently River City: Tokyo Rumble was shown at E3. I didn't even know that was coming west, so that's a great surprise.

(it's Natsume, so there doesn't seem to be a trailer specifically for the west yet)

I will say I do kind of wish they'd stop relying so hard on the old River City Ransom graphics, and maybe grow it up a little bit. They already did so on the Super Famicom with Kunio Tachi no Bankka and Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun, but it never stuck for some reason, while personally I prefer those game overall.
All the same, more Kunio is always a treat. I'll take anything they give.

I felt that Sony had the best press conference. It's wonderful to see The Last Guardian finally get a date been waiting on that game for years. Days Gone looks okay though I'm just glad Sony Bend finally announced their new project. I find it weird though that it's using UE4. the vr stuff and God Of War doesn't interest me. I'm surprised no showing of Gran Turismo Sport considering its coming out this fall. Seeing Kojima was neat will keep a eye out on his new game.

I was a bit indifferent to the new Detroit footage for the entire conference. It seems like a spiritual successor to Heavy Rain which isn't a bad thing. Horizon looked great.

Not the best E3. I am interested in Playstation VR, though I'm unsure if it's worth it without the likely better features of Sony VR when running with the Neo compared to the standard Playstation model I have now. My PC will be VR ready when I get the Radeon 480 so it might be more sense to get Occulus instead. Besides that the only game at E3 that made an impression on me was Zelda.
