E3 2016 - Dates, Games, Rumors.

Atlus USA have confirmed that Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will be among the games they have to show at their booth during the expo in June.

This follows the news that Atlus USA’s E3 2016 booth would likely be right next to SEGA Europe’s for the first time.

Last year, Atlus USA showed the following exhibitor games off at their E3 2015 booth:

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight
Lost Dimension
Persona 4: Dancing All Night
Stella Glow
The Deadly Tower of Monsters
The Legend of Legacy

Their booth was also Persona 5 and Persona 4: Dancing All Night themed (complete with dance floor)

I plan on watching Sonys presser. I expect The Last Guardian fall release date. The ps4k date and details. Hopefully a Shenmue 3 showing of some sort but not banking on it. That may be at next year's e3. Sony Bends new IP. Crosses fingers gameplay of Detroit but Sony may show that at gamescom

I expect Horizon Zero Dawn to be delayed til next year. It would be great if atlus announced a December u.s. release date for Persona 5.

It seems that pretty much anything is possible now with some of the announcements we've had so I'd even
hate to guess.

I see that Kingdom Hearts III is going to be there which I wasn't expecting.
Hopefully we get a date for The Last Guardian.

Outside of that I'm mainly just looking forward to new announcements. Once I decide I want a game I go into blackout mode so seeing gameplay demos of games I know I'm going to get isn't of interest to me. I just love the main companies trying to one up each other over 2 days.

I'm quite sad that Nintendo isn't taking part this year outside of Zelda as I think this year really is showing that E3 is slowly going away. EA is doing it's own show and Sony has the Playstation Experiance they do now. It won't be long until everyone else starts just doing their own thing to make money rather then pay the people who run E3.

Now that Shenmue III has been announced (after 14 years), the only game I await to be announced at E3 is a true sequel to Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

But im well pissed off. At the same time as the Microsoft conference, Irelakd kick off their first Euro 2016 match! Not only will i miss it, but i will be on the beer all night, and be smashed for the Sony Conference!

But this time next week we will be underway! I swear i will be awake 24/7 and have the packs of beer chilled. Man i love E3!

This year's UEFA/E3 Joint Planning Commission clearly didn't do their jobs properly!

E3 is the most wonderful time of the year.

E3 is slowly going away.

I think as the Internet matures E3 dies a little more each year. Studios don't want to be constrained to waiting until June to reveal their big new, system selling title when they have the whole year to release the same news on their own timetable. So what if they don't do it to a packed convention hall. They have to compete with all of the other big reveals and run the risk of getting buried under something bigger.

Unless you're Nintendo. Then just hold it at the handicap parking space at BestBuy like normal.
