Detroit releases May 25th worldwide.

When this game was announced I was initially against it because I felt like Quantic Dream was going back to the 'Kara' demo and not tackling anything new.

Since it's announcement at Paris I've came around and it's been one of my anticipated titles. I believed at first it could surpass/if not match Heavy Rain's 2 million sales.

Now with everything surrounding the studio it'll be interesting to see what the reception to it will be. I always personally thought that this is one developer Sony should scoop up. now I bet Sony will see how everything unfolds in the future in terms of sales figures and the allegations. What's everyone's opinion of the game?

My impression is it's going to be another mixture of Dragon's lair QTEs and "real movie" like mechanics, but now with a God mode as its newest feature where players literally get to see the likelihood of certain cutscenes to play out compared to others. I might be wrong but still, not expecting much from this as it's not my type of game tbh.
