It's the movie sequel to Final Fantasy VII, It takes place 2 years after FFVII.

It looks fantastic! Final Fantasy VII is not one of my favorites, but I think it is a great idea to do a movie follow-up. With this, and X-2 coming out, I hope they don't overlook any type of possible follow-up for VIII, my favorite of the series.
