That's not truly the internet. Sure is had the web but it's like crediting Farnsworth for LCD tv's or Grahm bell for cell phones. The inevtor of the wheel for cars. we are web 2.0 and it was invented for social use. Computers were invented for information and as tools for math.
I agree. I'm just simplifying things that you enjoy for the sake of argument. Guns are designed to kill, but many are now enjoyed as leisure activities. I'm sure you don't use your computer to download child pornography, and I don't want people to assume that I'm committing random acts of violence with my firearms. Risks exist in all expressions of liberty. However, it is up to you to decide if you're okay with voting away the rights of others because you assume particular freedoms don't provide, what you perceive to be, a positive impact on society.
