Nah, I live in East Manchester, but the bus costs a fortune and town's about three miles down the road (we call the city centre "town" btw)

I know this doesn't seem far, but I only walk to town on proper nice days, which are a rarity here anyway:

Nothing but City. Aside from that, it's just a place to live and work. There are shops, but just shitty discount ones. Real Manchester is Town and South Manchester. Don't go anywhere else. You don't need to. Watch yourself if you go to Rusholme or Moss Side. And just flat out don't go to Longsight.

I never really feel this way about peeps over the internet, but I probably would beat the living shit out of him if we ever met.
