The other rumor going around is Bryan Cranston playing Lex.

WB need to pick it up as at the moment it appears a bunch of characters will be just showing up in JL without an introduction before hand.

And no new Batman origin story please.

Bleh. You know, Batman is one of my favorite characters. But between cancelling Young Justice for yet another batman show spinoff and and the next batch of DC animated flicks being batman, batman and more batman, (Here I thought Flash Point was the beginning of branching out into more non-batman adventures from the Justice League, think again) I'm beginning to reach a point were I suspect he's getting overexposed.

Needs to happen. Morrison was head Batman writer during the height of the character's popularity, Scott Snyder's writer at a time where the general public should (hopefully) should be getting sick of the sight of him.

The optimist in me can see some suits making some strenuous link and fuck him off from the Bat books for good.

That is a real surprise choice

:-k

I mean he has improved over the years but still very odd and hey a lot of people complained when Ledger was announced as The Joker.

I actually don't mind that. Never really understood the shit he gets from people, as an actor. And even though the movie was pretty crap, he wasn't bad as Daredevil. I'm fine with the choice (and he's definitely someone I like a lot more than Christian Bale), but it does of course remain to be seen whether it'll actually be a great performance, or if he's just a place-filler (as most Batman actors have been, let's be honest).

I liked him as Daredevil too. But I dunno, Daredevil was a campy movie. Affleck, in my mind, is a campy actor. Yes he did a great job acting and directing Argo but I HATED HATED HATED The Town and I didn't care for Gone Baby Gone. Not to mention Gigli and I heard Jersey Girl was awful.

I know it's a gross generalization, actors are only as bad as the people who direct them, but a few movies can really hurt that on-screen persona. He COULD be good, but i'm just not seeing it now. Just imaging him as Bruce Wayne is making me laugh.

After finishing Man of Steel,no matter how anyone feels about Ben as bats..that isn't the biggest problem by far. Dear lord that film was ass. If they have scriptwriting and over used of CGI like MoS then this film will just be a wasted opportunity.

This'll be an Avengers-like ensemble film, then?

Sounds it. Heard Flash might also appear and Green Lantern has been mentioned once or twice with a bit of a reboot.
