I wanted to vote but I just haven't been active enough this year to be able to decide on who to vote for.

It has been really quite lifeless lately (Hence why I personally haven't voted; there isn't enough people here anymore). A lot of people have just upped and left or hardly ever post here now. It's shame but it's something that happens to all social gatherings whether it be online forums or clubs/groups IRL to go to. If/When Shenmue HD gets announced maybe we'll see some of them return, who knows?

More or less what Henry said. I will browse everyday and make the odd post here and there but that's it. It's pretty hard to maintain a sites activity when its based on a game which rarely has any noteworthy news. The GDC was good, but that was it. It's almost a year on from that now.

Personally I wouldn't mind Ryudo to come back. Would be cool if the old crowd started posting more often again, we used to argue a lot but that's to be expected on internet forums. The amount of regular posters who had been regularly active since years before even I appeared that suddenly left is pretty high.

We could always try to get those who didn't cause much drama back like Spokes, WRC, Wude, Sailors?, Segata, Bambi, Kiba, ThyDarkAngel.

I'm in constant contact with him. Unfortunately this forum isn't on his list of priorities in his life at the moment.

this place aint what it used to be, but i like it more the way it is now than with drama and trolls going wild all the time, we have reached the calm, we should be thankful.

In my opinion the trolling is blown way out of proportion. There was the whole Teepo episode and QWERTY being himself but other than that there really hasn't been much trolling here since I signed up and the little there were was easy to ignore (minus teepo posting pics of himself nude). I would rather the forums be like they were a year ago rather than now where there is barely any discussion and people just post about what they have bought or what they are doing or the odd rant that everyone ignores.

Though I guess on the other hand now the shenmue forums are as active as the other forums for what it's worth.
