So it turns out I was wrong about Berserk manga coming back (article was dated March 2014). Doh. Sorry for getting any Berserk fans excited about it...

Sorry guys, just logged on so I'm deleting topic after topic right now. Unfortunately I can't find an option to just check a bunch of them and delete en masse, so it's a one-at-a-time deal. Gonna take a bit.

CPU is running 70-80c just from web browsing. Tried running a game and it got up to 95c before I killed it. Time to blow out the case and remount/repaste the heatsink. I'm super nervous though as I've never had to remove/apply the thermal paste before. Always got lazy with those heatsinks with the peel off strip.

My brother threw this together in about a day. And he's never done anything with animation before.
It was a project for some class he's taking (no clue what class). I thought it was pretty good.

Got rid of that mom n pop internet service, which only gave us 25mps, and got Time Warner again and the 100mps package.

Life has never been more sweeter. I can actually play Tekken Revolution again. I celebrated with a 4 win streak.

How much are you paying? Time Warner was charging me $70 for 20mpbs "Turbo" and it got to be too much so I went down to standard, or 15mpbs. They wanted $55 for it and I had to haggle them down on both the rate plus buy my own modem to get out of the $8 a month leasing fee. By the time it was all said and done I'm left with paying $40 for 15mpbs which still seems like a rip off, but there's no alternative but dial up in NY. I hear in a lot of regions of the first world you can get 50mpbs for $20. Might as well be a dream for Americans.

I'm surprised 25mpbs wasn't enough for tekken because honestly I game just fine with 15. At 25 it seems like your ms latency would be an issue sooner than your mpbs.

That sucks for NY.

I was paying $58 for the internet plus the taxes and leasing fees. I bought my own modem and dug out my router, so for 100mbps they're charging me only $49.99. I have to split this between two other people too, but sometimes I was the only one using it and it was still ass slow. Switching back to TWC with only the internet package has been a dream especially since i'm only paying $16 for it because of the split.
