Not necessarily. In fact, one of its most praised points are its security and privacy options. IE9 is, to me, good for a simple reason: it is effective, and it's not as crash-prone as FF, Chrome or even Opera.

It does. Every year the convention to see which is hacked the fastest. IE9 was done in matter of 2 hours. FF was a couple days. Chrome did best.
