I know what happens. I just stopped watching it. I still read stuff online. I felt I had to comment though because yama mentioned Andrea dieing. That just deviates too far from the original source for me to even pretend liking it.

This is the kinda thing that stopped me from reading any manga or comics. I watch a movie based on a comic or show and like it then the comic fans always bitch how it's not the same. I just don't want to become that guy. I want to enjoy the show or film for what it is. Don't really give a shit how close or far it is from the comics.

But it's not disliked for being different than the graphic novel, it's disliked for being levels upon levels upon levels lesser as far as quality.

Though I disagree (can't remember the exact scene though I'm afraid) but the leaders need to give hope to their people somehow. Talking about the future and new books/stories that could be told is a good way to do it, especially to gullible people. I don't think the acting made it cheesy either, just my opinion though.
