I know I'm LTTF (late to the funeral), but while he, in the end, helped better some injustices and wrongdoings, and advance some ways of thinking and political dogmas, lest we forget, he was also involved in some very bad things.
We should never glorify a man, even more so a deeply flawed one, but instead his (good) actions.
Ultimately, this act of sanctification even stains his good work, with so many leaders of the present time making Mandela tributes when they go against his work on a daily basis.
