Awesome deal with the cane. Plus it works out seeing as how you'll have to beat women off with a stick to protect your awesomely rare copy of Vagrant Story! Women love those square RPG's.

Just bought a 3D TV as I wanted a bigger one and thought I might as well get a 3D one as well.

Uncharted 3 looked amazing.
Thor was ok
Batman Arkham City you could hardly tell it was 3D.

Very mixed but when it's good its amazing.

My mom only had a 13 inch tv in her bedroom so today I bought this for her. 20 inch CRT flat. only 10$. Now she has one in the front room

Wow that's a good deal, it looks like a flat screen and though I can't see it's inputs, I'm thinking it's stereo as well. The speakers on CRTs are so much better then the garbage they pack into flat panels. Real handy when you don't want to hook up a whole speaker setup just to watch some tv. Do you find this stuff at thrift stores or something? I need to get a tv for myself here fairly soon for my apartment, though I guess I can get by with my monitor and projector if I have broadband. Never really got around to buying a hdtv...

What is better for Wii, the component cable or the S-Video cable? I already have component does the S-Video make the picture quality better or worse? I need to know if its worth buying an S-Video cable for Wii.

This is the cable that came with my used Wii when I bought at GameStop. I think it is better than a S-Video cable, so I am all set

Also yeah never need to pay more than 10$ for any kind of cable. Anytime people do it's for brand name.Cables are cables.I remember buying a new tv in 2002 and then I was naive and the salesman got me to buy 50$ composite cables from Monster Cable. 2 years later they stopped working. Replaced them since with cheap cables and never had an issue since.
S Video was great then Component came along and was the best thing til HDMI.
